Lady Jackets season has ended

The Lady Jackets ended their season last night with a loss to Spartanburg High School in the Upper State Championship.  The Lady Jackets finished 15-3 overall and were the undefeated region champs.  All seven varsity players were named to the region team (the most of any team), and Elizabeth Fitzgerald was named Region Player of the Year.  It has been an honor and privilege to coach these amazing young women and make history with them.  Elizabeth Fitzgerald was also selected as one of the top 32 girls in the state to play in the State Singles' Tournament.  She and Coach Struve will travel to Columbia on Monday and Tuesday for this honorable competition.   She was also selected to play in the North/South Tennis Classic in which the top 6 girls from the upper state will play the top 6 girls in the lower state in Myrtle Beach on November 17 and 18.  This season has truly been a memorable one.  Please congratulate these amazing athletes on a great season!

2 - Maddi Bhend lost to Claire Coleman (the #3 player in the state) 1-6, 1-6

3 - Wallace Cortazar lost 2-6, 1-6

4 - Amelia Hall lost 1-6, 3-6

5 - Jamie Petrella lost 0-6, 5-7


2 - Courtney Templeton/Lucia Williams lost 5-7, 2-6

Lady Jackets won the 3rd Round of Playoffs vs Mauldin

The Lady Jackets defeated Mauldin 4-2 on Oct 25th in the third round of state playoffs!  They will travel to Spartanburg High School on Monday, October 30th to compete for the upper state championship.  Please congratulate these ladies and wish them luck in the next round.  What an exciting season so far!!

Lady Jackets defeated Boiling Springs in the 2nd Round of Playoffs

The Lady Jackets defeated Boiling Springs 4-3 in the second round of playoffs.  They will play at home Wednesday, October 25th against Mauldin at 5 p.m.  in third round playoffs.  Please congratulate these ladies; they truly deserve it!

National Signing Day 2019

Despite not winning a race, the Fort Mill boys’ swim team finished second at the 5A state swim meet, with the Jackets’ girls team winning three events and finishing third.
